New BeeHoney Co.
Pure, unfiltered, raw local honey from Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. We are new bees at this, and proud of it: a small operation at 255 Sachs Road, bottling honey the way the hive made it.
Raw, and left that way
Unfiltered means we do not push our honey through fine filters or heat it to keep it runny. The pollen and natural character stay in the bottle, which is why the color and flavor can shift a little from one batch to the next — and why a bottle may crystallize on the shelf over time. Stand it in warm water and it loosens again.
Local, down to the flower
Our bees forage on what grows around Gettysburg through the season, sunflowers among it. Buying local honey keeps that harvest in the community it came from.
What comes next
Honey comes first. In time, the same hives will supply a small range of honey and beeswax goods — lip balm first. Everything will be made in small batches, close to home.
